Who is Behind the KKK Card found in New Hampshire?
Context and Background
311: 311 is a numeric hate symbol that is often used by the KKK. As explained by the ADL, “The eleventh letter of the alphabet is the letter “K”; thus 3 times 11 equals “KKK,” or Ku Klux Klan.”
APK: After doing my research on this article, I have reason to believe that APK stands for American Patriotic Knights, or American Patriotic Klan. There are dozens and dozens of different groups within the Klan, but I’m assuming that this is a group that’s trying to gain momentum.
IGTW: In God We Trust.
OGK/Old Glory Knights (of the KKK): The Old Glory Knights of the KKK is a sect of the Klan that I actually don’t know that much about, but an imperial wizard of the Santa Fe, Tennessee chapter named Daniel Lane Walls pleaded not guilty on four counts of civil rights intimidation. Him, and a 17-year-old-boy had allegedly glued their recruitment fliers on three different marquees on Black Churches. I discuss this group in this article, but I’ll be working on a separate one as well doing a deeper dive on the group.
VK: VK, or its original name VKontakte (which translates to InContact), is a Russian social media platform that was created in 2006. This website isn’t some white supremacist website like Gab or Stormfront, but I have found several different white supremacists who use the platform as an “alternative” when they get banned off of U.S based social media platforms, but I’ve also seen many of their accounts get banned so it’s good to know that their moderation isn’t too lax.
Disclaimer: I tried to make this article as least confusing as possible. There’s several different usernames and email accounts that are used across different accounts and platforms, and I’ve had a hard time keeping track of everything to be frank. Trying to organize all of these different emails and social media pages was challenging, but I hope it’s clear enough for you readers.
As I do more research and come across more obscure hate groups, I find myself hesitant to report on them, unless they make a more “public” appearance. I wouldn’t bother reporting on the American Patriotic Knights of the KKK if I would have never come across this Reddit post.
While white supremacist love getting attention, I think that it’s even more important to denounce them. I refuse to live in a country where white supremacy goes unchecked and unchallenged. I’ve read plenty of comments under my works that tell me to “stop giving them attention,” and most of these people are acting in good faith. I see where they’re coming from, and I even wrote an article on why I report on hate groups.
American Patriot Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Business Card
I was first made aware of this “group” (or rather individual??) through a post on the r/newhampshire subreddit on April 21, 2025. As of today (April 26, 2025), the moderators of the subreddit removed the post. A user posted two pictures of a business card that was handed to them from the American Patriotic Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.
The user said that the card was handed to them in the parking lot of a Market Basket when they were walking back to their van with their groceries. They said that a random person handed them the card and said “this is for you,” and the user responded with “ok.” They went back to their van and were disgusted when they looked at the card.
There are a multitude of different factions of the KKK. The only group on this list with the name “Patriot” in it is the Patriotic Brigade Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, who got hacked back in 2021, and is a Texas-based group who was responsible for spreading propaganda in Houma, LA.
Therightkind4 and tnstate1796
I searched up “therightkind4” in a few different search engines, and I was led to a post from a VK account. This is the account of “Brother William,” or William Ray.
In this post, he’s talking about the “American Patriot Knights of the Invisible Empire.” “Invisible Empire” has been used to describe the Klan throughout history.
@tnstate1796
In William’s bio, it says that he’s located in Shelbyville, Tennessee, which is further verified by a few posts where he references his whereabouts, as well as his Poshmark account. With these posts, we also know that he’s married and that he’s a Baptist.
When you look up the username @tnstate1796, you’ll find a Facebook post which is now unavailable.
We obviously know that this is William. I’m pretty sure “If you grew up in Shelbyville TN you remember” is the name of the group since there’s one of those for just about any town, and this was most likely commented under a post, or it was his own post.
You will also find a Facebook group called “Ray’s Painting.” It’s public, and only has ten members as of today. In the about section, this is what you’ll find. The same exact email.
There is also a Reddit post under the r/DavidDuke subreddit by a user named u/Sad-Elephant-8679 (archived posts) that was made on September 9, 2024, urging people to join the American Patriotic Knights.
On his reddit account, he refers to himself as Liam, but I feel like it’s just a pseudonym. This account was created on June 24, 2024, and his bio promotes his group.
If you look through his comments, you’ll see that he posts his email twice in two different subreddits.
In his comment section, you’ll find him talking about David Duke and Thomas Robbs (telling the commenter “You may even understand what it’s about if you get on his page and listen to him before you condemn him”), talking about “snatch[ing] down” Palestinian flags, urging people to “Vote Trump Vance if you want to save our country before Biden and Harris gives it to immigrants and foreigners.”
He only has three posts on his Reddit page, two of them have been removed. The first one was posted on r/DeclineIntoCensorship on September 5, 2024. The title reads “American Patriot Knights,” but the actual body text isn’t available. The post was archived on the Wayback Machine on December 6, 2024, but still, no body text is available. If you look at the post right now, an auto moderator has a comment talking about how the forum was in “restricted mode.”
The second post was made to r/homestead on the same day. The post got removed by Reddit’s filters, but the comments give a little context.
I have a feeling that he was explaining the core values of the group.
An anonymous post on a WordPress post that was made on January 29, 2024 on a “Global Ghost Gun Intelligence Network” post also listed the tnstate1796 gmail.
Under a Rumble video about Joe Biden, a user named WR5 posts this. I’m assuming “WR” stands for William Ray.
On September 12, 2024, he made a few comments under a story from the Tennessee Conservative, pushing the great replacement theory.
I find this quite interesting how he says that he’s not racist at all knowing that he’s involved with the Ku Klux Klan.
But back to his VK account, the one that led me down a few different rabbit holes if you will. The page has some more tame posts, like screenshots of the Betsy Ross flag or the American flag with an eagle photoshopped onto it (even though he’s a traitor), but there’s also a fair amount of white supremacist and MAGA propaganda on there as well.
On January 2, 2025, he talked about how they can use Donald Trump as leverage.
One of William’s posts talks about how the war between Israel and Palestine is “doing the white race a favor.”
He also posted an image of a KKK banner, which he also uses (or used, an account of his has gotten banned, most likely this one) for his Facebook profile.
I wasn’t able to find any of his banned accounts, and I wasn’t able to find the account that’s running Ray’s Painting either unfortunately.
On January 28, it seems like there was an event that he hosted in Indiana.
In a post talking about how people need to “stand up,” this is what he says.
Ok, you can have a meet and greet, yea ha, we can have a cross lighting, o boy, 30 or 40 can gather up on a hill and have a ceremony, we can do all this and it must be done, but what else are we all doing for our people, to better our country and help all whites,. There is so much good and better we can do for America, IF we all stood together. If this Organization never changes it will only get worse. … All it takes is leaders contacting leaders and start pulling these groups together. But if we stay as we are, I have a question, what are you doing for this country to make it a better place to live. God Bless and God Bless the Order…..
It seems like he’s trying to urge the KKK to be more peaceful in their actions, which is in stark contrast to just about every single white supremacist that I’ve done research on, but I won’t let this fool me. I don’t care if you’re non-violent, if you’re involved in the KKK, I will never have respect for you.
One thing that piqued my interest was a comment that someone made under this post.
I looked up “OGK2021” on Bing, and came across this article from November 26, 2023. This article was about some KKK flyers that were popping up in Pineville, Kentucky on people’s driveways and inside their mailboxes. At the end of the article, they say that “it is not known if someone with the KKK is actually responsible for this or if it is an individual doing this to cause trouble and/or panic in the community.”
In the comment section, a user named “southend357” posts a comment saying that members are doing it for recruitment, and posts the “ogk2021@protonmail.com” email above, along with “oldgloryknights311@simdif.com.”
There was another article published by the Associated Press talking about a flyer from the Old Glory Knights that was left on the steps of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church, which is historically Black.
There’s also a “KKK Recruiting Thread” on a website called Econ Job Rumors that has the same email.
Looking up “southend357” will lead you to a now defunct Facebook group that was named “White Lives Matter | Join the klan and save your land.” Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to retrieve this through the Waybackmachine, Ghostarchive, or Archive.today; I was only able to find the listing on Bing.
I also found a Reddit account, u/Trump45- with a comment that was posted on February 12, 2025 with “southend357@gmail.com”
The only post on this account was on February 9, 2025 to r/DavidDuke that reads “What is wrong with David Duke?”
I’m not sure if these two people are associated with each other, but I think that it’s clear that they have similar ideologies. But alas, I’ll have to spare this KKK propagandist for another article.
apk311
On March 3, 2025, he made this post on VK along with his Yahoo email.
This email leads to William’s Substack account. The username for the account is @tnstate1796, which is the same as the other email accounts that he mentions on VK, as well as in a Substack post that was made on February 21, 2025.
There’s another Substack post where he links his apk311 email as well.
Clinton Ripley
I also came across a post on VK from someone named Clint Ripley from April 10, 2025 that lists the same apk311@yahoo.com email address. I’m assuming William made this account because he said that someone logged into his other account, and once you see the cadence and tone of his posts, it’s clear that it’s the same person.
In his bio on this Clint Ripley account, it says that he was born on February 10, 1980.
Also, looking at this excerpt, it’s clear what age range he’s targeting for the group.
If you 50 or over with nothing much more to live for, and ready to make a difference in America not for us but for our people In our country with a brave heart then we only need one group. If this sounds like you, waist no time.
When you look through this account, you will not only find images of Klan members, but you will also find pictures of the business card
Those images were posted on February 28, 2025, and he has “therightkind4@gmail.com” in a comment under it, which circles back to the business card that was given to somebody in New Hampshire. In a post prior to that on February 20, he asks if there are any legitimate KKK organizations that are active this year.
So, now we know that William Ray from Shelbyville, Tennessee is the one behind these business cards and this seemingly obsolete faction of the Ku Klux Klan that (I think) he’s trying to create. It’s unclear if William Ray was the one to distribute these business cards, or if it was someone else associated with the American Patriot Knights or the KKK itself. I feel like the most plausible answer would be an associate of the APK; I find it hard to believe that he would travel up to New England to give out business cards for a domestic terror startup, but anything is possible.
With that being said, when you see racist propaganda, report it then destroy it. It’s important to let people know that neo-Confederate traitor-trash is being littered in your community, especially if they leave clues that lead to their identity.
